Senior Consultant

Job Summary:

The Senior Consultant will manage a portfolio of strategic clients, design custom talent management and leadership development solutions, and grow scitrain’s business. This person must be able to extract important insights from conversations and use their expertise to conceptualize solutions. The Senior Consultant will engage deeply with clients, learn their business, help organize and prioritize their needs, and speak to the positive impacts of scitrain’s solutions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves to solve problems, and enjoys building genuine relationships.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main relationship liaison and point of contact for 3-5 strategic clients
  • Build annual, strategic plans for these clients
  • Monitor scitrain’s involvement with clients and resolve any client concerns
  • Continually update CRM with client opportunities, financials, and meeting notes
  • Gather and respond to all customer feedback, concerns, and complaints

Customized Solution Design

  • Engage with clients to define problems and conceptualize solutions
  • Develop and pitch robust solutions to clients and follow up until client approval is secured
  • Translate and explain solutions to the project teams that will help execute
  • Review designs to ensure alignment with the client needs and the approved concept

Solution Delivery

  • Facilitate development centers, assessment centers, workshops, trainings, and coaching programs for your own clients as well as other clients as needed
  • Lead internal process improvement efforts

Business Development Lead (Existing Business)

  • Understand current clients’ needs to proactively share scitrain’s offerings and help grow scitrain’s business
  • Lead the customer-facing team in ongoing discussions regarding client needs and sales opportunities
  • Understand the latest trends in the industry and discuss with customer-facing team where there may be opportunities for scitrain
  • Understand the business landscape and look for opportunities to proactively and strategically solve organizations’ problems
  • Engage in the sales process with new clients, as requested by Business Development, to help conceptualize solutions

General Responsibilities

  • Keep others updated about your clients
  • Stay current on market trends and become familiar with competitive solutions
  • Actively participate in scitrain’s new product innovation process

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology, business management, or related field, or experience in
  • Talent Management, Leadership Development, or related field
  • 5+ years of consulting experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, or related field
  • Possess a passion for leadership development
  • Strong consulting and facilitation capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and professional networking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of trustworthiness, responsiveness, and flexibility
  • Ability to handle ambiguity while continuing to problem solve and maintain an action-orientation
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a self-directed manner
  • Strong learning and continuous improvement mindset (self, others, processes, etc.)
  • Ability to learn new programs, systems, and technologies
  • Ability to quickly grasp scitrain’s business and internal processes
  • Confidence presenting to, interacting with, and influencing individuals at all organizational levels
  • Comfort working in a diverse, fast-paced, and ambiguous environment
  • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate with others
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, and Google products
  • Extensive travel may be required (up to 50%)
